🔥TECH NEWS #9 - Apple has been running a special discount on its most-affordable new flagship smartphone, iPhone XR. The company announced a promotional offer on iPhone XR in April this year. Under the offer, Cupertino-based company announced a price drop of Rs 17001 for iPhone XR, which was launched at a starting price of Rs 76,900 in November 2018. Post the price drop, iPhone XR (64GB) variant has been selling at Rs 59,900 and 128GB model at Rs 64,900. The smartphone has been available at an additional 10% discount with HDFC Bank credit and debit cards under an offer which ended earlier this week. However, it's back now. But this time for State Bank of India (SBI) customers. All purchases made via SBI credit and debit cards will be eligible for an additional 10% discount bringing the cost of the base variant (64GB) of iPhone XR to Rs 53,900. s offline exclusive. The 10% discount offer can be availed at select Apple authorized reseller stores across the country. There's also no-cost EMI offers available on Bajaj Finance Limited, HDFC Bank Consumer Loans, and IDFC First Bank. There's no time limit announced for the offer, it is said to be available till stocks last. There is also an exchange offers available. An exchange discount of Rs 20,000 is available on iPhone7 Plus. For iPhone6, it's Rs 8,000. There are also discounts available on an exchange of Android smartphones. Interestingly, the Apple iPhone XR was available at a special price of Rs 50,000 in the recent 48-hour Amazon Prime Day sale. However, the smartphone went out of stock within hours.
